Midwinter Masquerade
Because I couldn't find an exact dress I wanted, and to save filling tags with a lot of description, I've written up a description for Steph's outfit, including some links to give people an idea for what she's wearing. This is possibly a bit superfluous, but I like have visual references so this is for my sake as much as anyone elses, but hopefully you might get some use from it too.
There are three main pieces to the costume. The first being the skirt itself, made from layers of dusty gold tulle, meant to emulate chainmail, with darker flecks of gold sequins sewn into the tulle. The second is the thin, stiff, leather bodice, painted in gold to look like metal, though she opted out of using actual metal both for price and comfort. The final, and main part of the costume, is actually made from metal, thanks to the scrap metal found on the mainland and Asami's skill with metal work. It's a gold arm piece that starts on her left shoulder, seemingly attached to the bodice, helpfully hiding the bullet scar there, and covers the rest of her left arm with strips of metal and intricately linked chains and designs. Because the piece is designed to be the centre of attention, she's forgone any other jewellery.
As for make up, her eyeshadow looks like liquid gold, swept lightly across her eyelid and lining her lower lashes, flicking up slightly at the corners, with a dark burgundy lipstick to offset the gold. She's also carefully used foundation to cover the few scars visible above the bodice, making them fainter and difficult to notice. The mask is metal as well, filgree, gold and intriciate, and doesn't hide much of her features. Her hair's up in an updo, a loose braid that's tucked up to give the appearance of a bob cut. It's a simple hair style, but she hadn't wanted to draw too much attention away from the dress. Similarly, her shoes are just gold pumps with a three inch heel, easy enough to walk in, and easy to step out of if she need to move quick.

The fabric of the dress is similar to this, although there's more layers of tulle, and less sequin detailing.

This was the inspiration for the bodice, although it goes all the way around her torso and wouldn't be as structured, because it's made from leather not metal.

On that note, this is what the fabric of the bodice would look like!

Details on the arm piece; Steph's looks like gold and is slightly less detailed/with less rivets.

Her mask looks exactly like this one.

The shoes are this style, without the Louboutin red sole, since I doubt they have Louboutin shoes in Keeliai.

Her hair is up in this style.

And her make up is inspired by this (without the gold eyebrows)!
