[Steph's generally a pretty animated person; she moves a lot, she talks with her hands and bounces on her feet and generally just doesn't sit still.
Right now she's the opposite of that.
It's a sharp sort of stillness, tension in the lines of her shoulders and the way he's pressing her fingers into her thigh, trying to keep herself calm. She won't - can't - snap at Ellie, no matter how frustrated she is, no matter how much Ellie yells at her.
This isn't working, she should have just been honest from the beginning. She can do this without bringing Sonya into it. She hates that she'll have to talk about this with Ellie, but at the same time she knows Ellie isn't a little kid, hasn't been immune from this shit.]

They are points in time the AI itself has flagged as key areas in the development or installation phases of the new UE regime. Ideally, it would be a matter of gathering and storing the historical conditions each point is in...but there is little to say it won't be more dangerous than that. The state of the world is unclear in those years, but if it was enough to convince humans to turn their governing wills to a machine...
