a princess is going on a tour of europe and she gets really frustrated by how strict everyone is, so she sneaks off and pretends to be a normal person and meets a journalist. he figures out who she is but doesn't tell, because he wants to get an exclusive interview with her.
but then he shows her around rome and they fall in love so he decides not to write an article about her.
they don't get married or anything, she goes back to being a princess. but i don't know, it's nice but it's still kind of realistic. sometimes you don't get a happy ending with someone but that doesn't mean it wasn't worth it.
