but there's gotta be a resistance force in the UE, right? someone helps get the exiles into the city, maybe we could try to make contact with them?
and i think whether we do it in the past or the present, focusing on the masked or the AI are our best bet. just as somewhere to start with that guerilla warfare.
I'm not counting on it. The threat is too big to ignore; if any of the empires were still out there, they would be here. But there are bigger things. Universal constants. They might still be there.

This whole catered weapon thing is nice, up to a point, but it doesn't cover enough distance to not make us extremely outgunned. We've got Stark. What the hell has he been doing all this time?

tony's been focusing more on infrastructure and commissioned projects for people. i worked at contrast mechanics back down on earth, and he never seemed that interested in weaponry
