[ alisha's taken quite a beating over the last few weeks. from being kidnapped to almost being dog food, she's really had fucking enough of this place. she remembers steph for the little gadget she gave her, and for her broadcast on the network about two things: 1) ellie and 2) defense. she's contacting her about the latter. ]
You said if anyone wanted to learn how to fight to let you know. I'm letting you know. If it's still being offered and shit.

There's a battle-inflicted breach in the wall, over in the shower area. It's sealed off to prevent further leaking, but it should probably be fixed at some point.
[She reads the message when her tablet pings, but sets it down without responding. Talking to people isn't really something she feels capable of right now, but eventually the guilt wins out over the avoidance.
[It takes her a second to answer, but she figures Jaime wouldn't be calling her for something that wasn't important, so she forces a few calm breaths and takes the call.]
Hey, yeah. What's up?
[It's a little rushed, trying to get the words out around a shaking voice.]
[There isn't an answer for a little while; it's not like she isn't planning too, it's just been A Day, between seeing Max and Collette's post and talking to Ellie.
So much for getting some rest.
And then she just has to take some time mulling over her reply. She keeps trying to keep up the "everything's okay" act around Ahiru, despite how often she fails it, and she knows that part of it is some misguided sense that she needs to protect the girl.
Which isn't fair. Ahiru is sweet, but she's not naive, and she's definitely not stupid.
She goes for honesty:]
i'm not really doing okay right now, a lot happened in the past few days that wasn't all that great.
but i'll be okay again soon, thank you for checking up on me. you've been here for me a lot lately and i really appreciate that.
[ They can still dig this up and look at it if they have reason to think she's using it badly but right now she needs anywhere that's not as public as Dick's post. ]
do you all come out of there with that guilt complex, huh?
[That takes a second to digest, but any potential concern she might have about the fact Jaime has that ability is completely undercut by sheer relief.]
Thank you.
[Really; she hasn't been hearing a lot of good things lately.]
Keep me updated if you think anyone's there looking for him.
Saul's voice sounds a little shaky, but he's trying his damnedest to keep calm.]
Steph, it's me. I need you to listen — and I mean really listen. Okay? You ready?
Stay away from Jesse. Mike's with him, so he's safe for the moment. I don't want you teleporting in there, I don't want you going through the proper channels for a visit, I don't even want you contacting him through the network. We need to talk, you and I.
[Hi this is Ellie being very upset about just about everything and not wanting to accidentally snap at Joel or find certain people involved in the mutiny and/or the Jesse mess and stab them. So.]
[After this, there's a lot of thinking he has to do. He supposes he owes Steph an apology for snapping at her on the network- now that he knows the whole story, it's easier to see her guilt, to see why she acted the way she did. He doesn't want to lose her friendship over this- especially not with what he knows now.
With that being said, it takes him an hour or so to actually get around to picking up his tablet and bringing up her name. Isaac doesn't generally like bringing up his own weaknesses- so comforting someone who shares the same is sort of a big deal for him.
Still. He remembers how he felt on the floor, with Allison bleeding and Scott standing over him. Remembers the panic, the crushing anxiety, followed by the even heavier guilt. The two of them forgave him then, in a heartbeat, told him that it wasn't his fault. It's probably high time that Steph hears it too.]
[Slightly backdated to earlier on the 26th.] If you're getting this, you wanted to know more about the clones. I'm going to tell the network what I know soon, but here's a copy of my notes.
